I took part in a special art challenge where each day we were prompted to create a bird painting. The event was called 28 days of feathered friends. The prompt of the day was bluebird. I just happen to be looking out my window and that's where I saw some beautiful birds and decided to paint how happy the birds made me feel. Springtime is my favorite time of year and I imagined the trees filled with blossoms and the many blooms of colorful flowers on the way.
These garden bird friends are painterly with an abstract quality on an ivory background. They are whimsical and I hope they bring a smile to those who are looking at them.
