This is a watercolor painting that was inspired by my trip to Provence. I also created a fabric collection that went with this design called "Sweet Lavender"". It was wonderful to smell the lavender in the fields and the gardens. I understand why the French impressionists were so inspired to paint the gorgeous environment. Everywhere you looked was the beauty of nature. The still life painting features two white butterflies, a rustic tin bucket, and a purple polka dot bow.
